Welcome to Little Furniture Assemblage! L.F.A. is an independent brand from Basel, Switzerland, creating innovative, delightfully unconventional jewellery, accessories, and objects from recycled and reclaimed materials. We do not follow fashion cycles and we work as a small team of passionate artisans. After all, we believe that good things take time.
Little Furniture Assemblage was founded by Natalya Goldbach in 2019. Through collaboration with various friends and craftspeople, a collective body of work is gradually growing and developing, offering original designs and unique little treasures.

Ethos
L.F.A.'s mission is to create beautiful, high-quality designs with human hands, mind, and soul. In doing so, we aim for zero waste, incorporating recycled and reclaimed materials throughout our work.
Local Production
Based in Basel, Switzerland, Little Furniture Assemblage is creatively directed by Natalya. Working closely with two local artisans, José and Paco, the three of us handcraft L.F.A.’s leather goods, jewellery and accessories ourselves. Before each piece finds its way to you, it goes through a hands-on process of development, testing and refinement. We often develop our own tools and techniques along the way, finding individual solutions for each design. This approach allows us to create distinctive objects that reflect our commitment to making, originality and quality.
Reclaimed Materials
Our leather comes from luxury-industry deadstock in Spain and offcuts sourced in southern Germany, which we transform into bags and small leather goods.
We recycle 100% of the silver and aluminium we use, sourcing from a recycling plant near Basel.
Due to the challenges of melting brass, we use only offcuts and leftover material.
Why We Don’t Plate
We have made the decision to offer no gold or silver plating on L.F.A. designs due to the impact this process has on the environment and the health of individuals involved in its application. We encourage customers to follow our care instructions to ensure the longevity of your purchased items.
Small quantities
For the production of our signature L.F.A. leather straps, we work with a small family business in Italy that sews just as much leather cord as we provide material. Imagine, most manufacturers require a minimum order quantity of 100 m per colour. So we are very happy to have found this small, quirky, slightly chaotic company.... just like us, Little Furniture Assemblage!
Packaging Materials
Our packaging is crafted from recycled, unbleached grey cardboard, embossed with our L.F.A. blind logo. No colours, no plastics, no frills. We’ve stripped away all unnecessary elements, underscoring our dedication to simplicity and the beauty within. To create the blind embossing, we built our own press from scrap metal, reflecting our commitment to resourcefulness and a DIY spirit.
