Little Furniture Assemblage is a label with a unique approach to design: It distills the inspiration from found objects, furniture, tapestry and antiques into singled out, exclusive handcrafted accessories. The repertoire of the label consists of three core products that are all part of a developing series: Leather belts, glasses straps and gold-plated bracelets.
Little Furniture Assemblage produces one of a kind pieces that display the designer’s passion for artisanal craftsmanship, while giving it a contemporary and vibrant edge. The designer is entirely involved in the process of the creation of the accessories, which are either handmade by her in Switzerland or in close collaboration with the creative artisans of Rio de Janeiro. Little Furniture Assemblage is a true journey through colours, memories, materials and interiors.
Little Furniture Assemblage was founded in Basel, Switzerland in 2015, by Natalya Goldbach. Her colourful designs are influenced by the diversity and the visual memories of the many places she lived. Born in Russia, she grew up in Germany and studied in London and Berlin. She lived and worked, among others, in Paris, Rio de Janeiro and Vienna. The development process of her limited-edition pieces is driven by the passion for craftsmanship and material as such. The material always stands at the beginning of the idea, of the process, of the design. Natalya approaches the process of designing in a playful way and is not afraid to push the material to its limits.
